Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Atlanta indicates overnight lows on September 20 will likely settle in the low 70s, driven by a lingering warm, moist air mass with dew points near 70°F and limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms may enhance cloud cover, keeping minimum temperatures elevated above the early-September average of 64°F. Current forecasts cluster around 71°F, aligning with the market's leading 74-75°F and 70-71°F bins as traders weigh model consensus against potential variations in timing or intensity of any evening convection. A cooler pattern is expected to arrive mid-week but arrives too late to affect this resolution.
