A tight contest for first place in Acre’s 2026 Senate election reflects a fragmented field of established figures, with recent polls showing narrow leads that shift within the margin of error. August surveys place Márcio Bittar and Gladson Cameli near the top, followed closely by Jorge Viana, Mara Rocha, and Sérgio Petecão, while other names including Eduardo Velloso and Dr. Junior Feitosa register measurable support. Cameli’s pre-candidacy and ongoing eligibility appeal, combined with the re-election bids of the two sitting senators, sustain uncertainty over voter consolidation and turnout patterns. The multi-candidate dynamic and limited separation in polling averages keep implied probabilities compressed, with any late surge in one contender’s regional base or alliance shifts likely to widen gaps before October voting.
