Recent forecasts for Mexico City on September 14 point to widespread cloud cover, high humidity near 60-90%, and 75-89% precipitation probability from tropical moisture typical of the rainy season, which reduces solar heating and caps daytime highs. Official and model consensus from sources like the National Weather Service and European models shows expected maxima of 21-24°C amid light winds and afternoon showers or thunderstorms, aligning with historical September averages around 24-25°C but tempered by these conditions. This scientific context explains trader emphasis on 24°C as the leading outcome, with modest probability on 25°C if clearing occurs, while lower or higher extremes remain unlikely absent major forecast shifts. Updated model runs or satellite observations tomorrow morning could refine these implied probabilities.
