Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to a modest daytime high near 66°F for Seattle on September 14, with persistent marine layer clouds, light southerly flow, and a 25% chance of drizzle suppressing solar heating. This outlook aligns closely with the market's near-even split between the 66-67°F and 68-69°F bins, as small differences in cloud timing or boundary-layer mixing could shift the peak by a degree or two. The forecast remains below the 1991-2020 climatological average of 71°F, reflecting cooler post-frontal conditions following weekend rain rather than any extreme anomaly. Official resolution will hinge on the daily maximum recorded at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
