Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models point to a high near 70–73°F in San Francisco on September 14, driven by persistent onshore westerly flow and a moderating marine layer that limits daytime heating despite mostly clear skies. This aligns with the September climatological average high of roughly 71°F and recent stable high-pressure conditions without significant warm advection. Trader consensus, however, concentrates implied probability on the 74–77°F range (66.5% combined), suggesting some participants anticipate slightly stronger warming or station-specific readings above guidance. Key resolution hinges on the official daily maximum, with afternoon sea breezes and wind speeds of 10–20 mph likely capping extremes.
