Recent ensemble forecasts from models including ECMWF indicate mostly clear skies and light southerly winds over Milan on September 14, supporting a daytime maximum near 27–28 °C. This aligns with the market’s heaviest trading on 28 °C and 29 °C outcomes, as traders weigh the narrow spread between official guidance and local urban heat effects. Stable high pressure and below-average moisture have kept recent runs consistent, though small differences in afternoon cloud cover or wind timing could shift the peak by 1 °C. Historical September maxima in Milan average near 26 °C, providing context for the current slightly warmer signal. Updated model runs and official Italian meteorological briefings expected overnight will likely refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
