A crowded field of 11 candidates for Goiás’s two Senate seats has produced closely matched probabilities for second place, driven by the July Quaest poll showing Gracinha Caiado (União Brasil) leading at 20% while Vanderlan Cardoso, Dr. Zacharias Calil, Gustavo Gayer, and Gustavo Mendanha clustered between 6-10% amid 31% undecided voters. This fragmentation, combined with limited name recognition for several contenders including Ernesto Roller and Guilherme Darques, sustains trader consensus that no single candidate has consolidated the remaining vote share. Upcoming campaign events, additional state-level polling, and potential endorsements from parties or local figures could consolidate support and shift positioning ahead of the October election.
