Guillaume Cliche-Rivard, the incumbent Québec solidaire MNA, holds the strongest trader consensus in this riding at 61 percent implied probability, reflecting his 2023 by-election victory that ended decades of Liberal control in the left-leaning Montreal district. Local priorities such as housing affordability and immigration policy align with QS positioning, while Cliche-Rivard’s visibility as a former interim party co-spokesperson provides an organizational edge. Benoit Clermont, the Liberal challenger and former television producer, sits at 31 percent amid a broader provincial rebound for the party but limited personal profile in the riding. Anthony Lavoie of the CAQ trails at 5 percent, consistent with weaker party standing province-wide. Nominations closed September 17 ahead of the October 5 vote, leaving limited time for late shifts in turnout or endorsements to alter the competitive balance.
