The Beauharnois riding remains closely contested ahead of the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election, with trader prices clustered near even odds across leading candidates because no single contender has established a durable edge in a multi-party field. Incumbent Claude Reid of the Coalition Avenir Québec benefits from name recognition and the party’s regional base, while Alexandre Daneau of the Parti Québécois, who secured his nomination in June with strong local support, draws on the PQ’s stronger provincial polling position. Liberal candidate Charles Royer Tremblay and Conservative Angélika Homère further fragment the vote in a riding that has shown volatility between CAQ and PQ in recent projections. Limited riding-specific polling, late-campaign momentum shifts, turnout patterns among francophone voters, and any provincial-level movement between the PQ and CAQ will determine whether one candidate pulls ahead before election day.
