Parliamentary elections to elect all 127 seats of the National Assembly of Quebec are scheduled to take place in Quebec on October 5, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the next Vanier-Les Rivières Quebec National Assembly election for a full term beginning in October 2026 or thereafter. If the election results are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official election results as published by Elections Quebec (https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/).The Vanier-Les Rivières riding features a tight three-way contest among Patrick Paquet of the Parti conservateur du Québec, Françoise Faverjon-Fortin of the Coalition avenir Québec, and Stéphanie Martin of the Parti québécois, with Charles Hudon of the Parti libéral du Québec trailing in aggregates. Late-August provincial polling and riding-specific models show these three parties separated by only a few points in the Capitale-Nationale region, where the PCQ draws particular strength. Recent candidate nominations—Paquet drawing on municipal experience, Faverjon-Fortin on business governance, Martin on journalism, and Hudon on law-enforcement credentials—have not yet produced clear differentiation. The October 5 election date, combined with ongoing provincial volatility between the PQ, CAQ, and PCQ, sustains the narrow spread; further campaign events, regional turnout patterns, or late polling shifts could widen gaps among the frontrunners before nomination closes on September 17.
