Recent polls for São Paulo’s two Senate seats show a fragmented field ahead of the October 4 first-round vote, with Simone Tebet and Marina Silva holding narrow leads in intention surveys while Guilherme Derrite, André do Prado, and Ricardo Salles remain within striking distance. The closely matched market prices for second place reflect this uncertainty, as most voters have yet to settle on preferences in a race featuring more than a dozen registered candidates and limited spontaneous name recognition. Party strategies, coalition alignments, and turnout among centrist and right-leaning voters in the state’s large electorate continue to shape positioning, with no single frontrunner yet dominating both seats.
