The Zacatecas gubernatorial race for 2027 remains wide open more than a year ahead of the vote, with trader pricing reflecting a fragmented field where no single contender exceeds 33 percent implied probability. Morena maintains a structural edge as the incumbent party, yet internal nomination processes, potential coalition adjustments with the Partido del Trabajo and Partido Verde, and opposition challenges from PAN and Movimiento Ciudadano keep probabilities dispersed across multiple aspirants. Limited polling data from recent months shows party-level preferences favoring Morena but provides little clarity on individual candidates. No major developments have occurred in the past 30 days to shift positioning. Candidate selection timelines, primary outcomes, or new public endorsements over the coming months could consolidate support and widen gaps in the market.
