Current National Weather Service and private model guidance points to an overnight low near 57–58°F for San Francisco on September 15, driven by moderate onshore flow and a modest marine layer that limits radiational cooling. Trader odds remain closely split between the 68°F-or-higher bucket and sub-50°F outcomes because small shifts in cloud cover, wind speed, or fog timing can alter the minimum by several degrees. Historical September lows average 56°F, with clear, calm nights occasionally dropping into the low 50s while stronger marine influence keeps readings higher. Updated model runs and local observations through September 14 will provide the key data releases that refine these probabilities before resolution.
