National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on September 19 call for sunny, hot conditions with a high near 100°F under a strong high-pressure ridge, light southerly winds, and minimal cloud cover keeping daytime heating efficient. This aligns with late-summer climatology for North Texas, where highs frequently reach the upper 90s amid dry soils and subsidence. Trader positioning, with 96-97°F and 98-99°F bins capturing over 90% of implied probability, reflects model consensus from recent runs showing limited variability and low precipitation chances, though slight downward revisions in some guidance or station-specific readings could shift the official maximum into the mid-90s. No significant frontal passage or moisture surge is expected today to alter the thermal profile.
