Official National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 7 project a high near 89°F amid scattered afternoon thunderstorms, with model consensus showing cloud cover and convection limiting peak heating after recent 92–93°F readings. Increased moisture and storm development on the 6th–7th reduce surface insolation compared to clearer prior days, while steering patterns favor modest cooling from the seasonal average of 82°F. Trader odds cluster tightly around 88–93°F bins, reflecting model spread in storm timing and intensity that could shift the daily maximum by a few degrees. Updated NWS guidance and high-resolution model runs over the next 48 hours will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
