**Trader consensus centers on 29–30°C for Manila’s September 7 high, reflecting the persistent southwest monsoon (habagat) that is expected to maintain widespread cloud cover and frequent showers.** PAGASA forecasts and short-range models show highs of roughly 28–29°C under mostly cloudy to overcast skies, with 50–100 mm of rain possible in Metro Manila, which limits solar heating and promotes evaporative cooling. Climatological September averages near 30–31°C provide the baseline, yet the active monsoon trough and associated moisture keep surface temperatures suppressed relative to clearer conditions. Model consensus favors modest afternoon peaks around 29°C, with only a narrow window for brief clearing to reach 30°C or above. Updated PAGASA guidance and next model runs through September 6 will be the key near-term inputs for any shift in implied probabilities.
