Official forecasts from the Hong Kong Observatory indicate a maximum of 31°C on September 5, with partly cloudy skies, brief sunshine, and isolated showers under west-to-southwest winds of 3–4 on the Beaufort scale. This aligns with typical early-September climatology, where daily highs average near 30–31°C amid transitional monsoon influences and moderate humidity levels of 70–95%. Recent model consensus shows limited deviation, with cloud cover and scattered precipitation capping potential for 32°C or higher while supporting the 30–31°C range as the most probable outcomes. The monthly outlook for normal-to-above-normal temperatures provides broader context, though day-to-day steering patterns and localized convective activity remain key variables that could shift the exact peak.
