Recent opinion polls ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election show the Centre Party (C) holding a modest edge over the Christian Democrats (KD), with C typically registering 6.4–7.3% and KD between 4.2–7.5% across surveys from SCB, Novus, Indikator, and Demoskop. Official Statistics Sweden data from May recorded statistically significant gains for C while KD remained lower, and subsequent multi-month averages reflect C’s steadier rural and centrist support with less volatility near the 4% threshold. Traders interpret this polling trajectory and limited recent shifts within the Tidö bloc or opposition as the main factors behind the 65% implied probability for C finishing ahead on election night.
