Forecast models for Jeddah on September 17 indicate daytime highs near 36–38°C under mostly sunny skies and light westerly winds, consistent with the closely matched market odds favoring 36°C or 37°C. The Red Sea’s moderating maritime influence, combined with typical September subsidence and high solar insolation, supports these values, while local sea-breeze effects and humidity levels around 50–70% can shift peak readings by 1–2°C. Historical September averages hover near 35°C, but recent stable high-pressure patterns have sustained warmer conditions. Traders weigh model consensus against potential afternoon wind shifts or minor cloud increases that could cap temperatures below 37°C or allow brief spikes higher. Updated short-range forecasts from agencies like the Saudi Meteorological Authority will refine resolution criteria ahead of the daily maximum.
