Recent monsoon influences and associated cloud cover are moderating peak temperatures in Karachi ahead of September 17, with official Pakistan Meteorological Department guidance and global models indicating highs centered on 33–34°C under partly to mostly cloudy skies and southwest sea breezes. Recent light rain and thunderstorms through September 15–16 have increased humidity and reduced daytime heating compared to the prior 39.5°C reading, aligning trader consensus around the 33–35°C range while limiting upside risk from clearer, hotter conditions. Model runs show limited intensification potential due to persistent moisture and wind patterns typical for mid-September in the region, with resolution hinging on the highest hourly or daily maximum recorded at official stations.
