Dexter McCoy holds the leading position in trader consensus for the November 3, 2026, Fort Bend County Judge general election due to his status as the Democratic nominee and sitting Precinct 4 commissioner. McCoy secured his nomination after winning the May 26 Democratic runoff. Daniel Wong, the Republican nominee and current interim county judge, trails amid ongoing partisan disputes over his appointment following the June dismissal of a civil lawsuit tied to former judge KP George’s suspension. Recent developments, including a September budget vote split along party lines with Wong presiding, have kept focus on the contested interim role and the county’s shifting voter base. The wide field of other listed outcomes reflects limited viability for additional candidates beyond the two nominees.
