Kosovo's presidential election remains stalled amid persistent parliamentary fragmentation, with no bloc holding the 80 votes needed for the first two rounds or even a reliable simple majority thereafter. Bekim Sejdiu's late-August selection as a Vetëvendosje-LDK consensus pick briefly consolidated support before internal LDK dissent triggered his September withdrawal, underscoring the difficulty of securing quorum and cross-party discipline. Vjosa Osmani and other named contenders trail because repeated snap elections since 2025 have produced narrow majorities without the two-thirds threshold, while the acting president's mandate nears its early-October limit and further dissolution risks loom. Traders price the field tightly as any viable path requires renewed negotiations among LVV, LDK, and smaller parties before constitutional deadlines force another vote or election.

If no such President takes office by April 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution sources for this market will be official information from the Assembly of Kosovo and the Office of the President of Kosovo; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
