Recent forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and other models point to a daytime high near 16°C on September 15 under partly cloudy skies and light southerly winds, placing the outcome in a narrow band that explains the near-even split between 16°C and 17°C market-implied odds. Light winds and stable pressure limit rapid temperature changes, while modest model differences in afternoon cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing account for the slim possibility of reaching 17°C versus holding at 15°C. Historical September averages in Helsinki hover several degrees lower, so current conditions reflect a mild anomaly that traders appear to be pricing with high uncertainty in the final 48 hours before resolution.
