**Current NWS forecasts for Miami on September 24 point to a high near 88°F amid scattered to likely thunderstorms with 70-80% precipitation chances, creating the tight clustering of market-implied odds across the 86-93°F range.** Thunderstorm timing, coverage, and intensity remain the dominant variables: early or widespread convection can limit afternoon heating and cap the daily maximum, while delayed or localized activity allows greater solar heating and higher peaks. Persistent high humidity, light variable winds shifting from south to northeast, and typical late-September sea-breeze influences add further uncertainty. Official guidance shows model consensus around the upper 80s, but small shifts in the 12-48 hour forecast window can easily move the observed high by 2-4°F. Updated NWS runs and short-range model outputs will provide the next key data points before resolution.
