Recent forecasts from regional meteorological models show Shenzhen's September 22 high likely peaking in the low 30s°C amid scattered thunderstorms and variable cloud cover. Subtropical moisture and light easterly to southeasterly flow support afternoon convection that can suppress maximum temperatures through evaporative cooling and reduced insolation, while any breaks in cloud cover allow brief warming toward 32–33°C. Historical September baselines near 31°C provide context, with current model consensus centered on 31–32°C resolution thresholds. Traders appear to weigh the balance between persistent rain chances and potential for isolated clearing that could nudge readings higher, consistent with the closely matched implied probabilities for those two leading outcomes.
