Official National Weather Service forecasts for Austin-Bergstrom project a September 24 minimum in the mid-70s, driven by a warm, humid air mass with light easterly winds limiting nocturnal radiational cooling and partly cloudy skies. Model consensus from recent runs shows little day-to-day shift, placing the low well above seasonal normals near 65–69°F while far below the 86°F+ threshold. Trader sentiment reflects this stability yet prices near-even odds on sub-67°F outcomes, underscoring lingering uncertainty in boundary-layer moisture and any late-model adjustments before resolution. Key upcoming catalysts include the next NWS point forecast matrices and 00Z/12Z model cycles over the next 48 hours.
