Persistent cloud cover and widespread rainfall associated with a lingering low-pressure system and typhoon outer bands are suppressing solar heating and capping daytime highs in Taipei on September 6. Official Central Weather Administration guidance and multiple model runs indicate overcast skies with high precipitation probabilities, favoring maximum temperatures in the 27–29°C range amid northeasterly flow. Traders have priced 28°C and 29°C as the closest outcomes because heavier or more prolonged rain would further limit warming while any temporary clearing could allow brief spikes toward 30°C. Forecast uncertainty remains elevated due to timing differences in convective activity and steering patterns, with updated model guidance expected before resolution.
