Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles on September 17 point to overnight lows in the mid-60s, driven by a persistent marine layer and onshore flow that moderates coastal temperatures under partly cloudy to clear conditions. This aligns with typical late-September patterns, where historical averages near 63–64°F at stations like LAX provide context, though current model consensus shows limited cooling overnight. Trader consensus, reflected in elevated implied probabilities for 66–69°F ranges, incorporates forecast uncertainty around exact minimum timing and station-specific readings, with potential for minor revisions from updated model runs or local observations before resolution.
