Recent forecasts from NOAA-aligned sources indicate Miami overnight lows near 80°F on September 2 amid typical early-September humidity, scattered thunderstorms, and east-southeast flow. Persistent warm Atlantic and Gulf waters, combined with limited radiational cooling under cloudy skies and high dew points, support minimum temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s—consistent with the historical 77°F average but elevated by ongoing tropical moisture. Model runs show minimal spread, with no cold fronts or dry-air intrusions expected to drive sharper drops. Trader consensus favoring the 78–79°F and 80–81°F bins reflects this stable pattern, while lower-probability outcomes below 76°F would require an atypical steering shift or clearer skies enhancing cooling.
