Any interim or caretaker Governor will not qualify. If the results are not known definitively by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Nayarit and Mexico, including the Electoral Institute of Nayarit and the National Electoral Institute of Mexico.The Nayarit gubernatorial race remains wide open ahead of the 2027 vote, with trader prices clustered near even odds across dozens of listed contenders reflecting the absence of finalized party nominees. Recent July 2026 surveys show the Morena-PT-PVEM alliance holding an aggregate preference lead above 50 percent, while internal polling within that bloc places Héctor Santana García ahead of Geraldine Ponce Méndez, Pavel Jarero Velázquez, Jasmine Bugarín Rodríguez and others.
