Recent opinion polls for Sweden’s September 13, 2026, parliamentary election show the Centre Party (C) and Christian Democrats (KD) both polling in the 6–7.5 percent range, with C holding a narrow lead in the latest Novus and Demoskop surveys. The Centre Party’s positioning as an independent liberal force seeking a new government without the Left Party or Sweden Democrats, combined with its recent leadership transition, has sustained modest support. KD remains anchored in the current right-leaning Tidö bloc but shows similar volatility. These consistent polling trends, rather than any single event, underpin traders’ 73 percent implied probability that C will receive more votes than KD on election day.
