The Tocantins Senate election on October 4 features two seats and a highly fragmented field, leaving the second-place outcome tightly contested among roughly a dozen viable contenders. Recent polling shows Eduardo Gomes (PL) holding a clear lead for first, while support for second remains dispersed across candidates including Fábio Ribeiro (REDE), Carlos Gaguim (UNIÃO), Alexandre Guimarães (MDB), and others, with many voters still undecided. Withdrawals such as that of incumbent Irajá Abreu and ongoing coalition negotiations have further diluted any single challenger’s momentum. Trader prices reflect this parity, with no candidate establishing a durable polling or organizational edge that would separate the pack before election day.
