Savo Minić leads the Republika Srpska presidential field with the strongest trader consensus because the ruling SNSD party, backed by Milorad Dodik’s network, formally nominated the incumbent prime minister in early July 2026 for the October 4 general election. His position benefits from SNSD’s established voter mobilization structures and control of key institutions ahead of the vote, which also includes National Assembly seats. Branko Blanuša of the main opposition SDS trails as the primary challenger, reflecting the narrower but competitive base for Serb Democratic Party candidates in recent cycles. Lower-probability names such as Ćamil Duraković, Ramiz Salkić, and various independents register minimal implied support, consistent with their limited party infrastructure and historical vote shares below 1 percent. No major last-minute shifts in candidate lists or polling have altered these dynamics in the final weeks before the election.
