Current NWS and NOAA model guidance for Denver points to an overnight low in the mid-60s°F on September 13, driven by a warm, mostly clear pattern with southeast winds and only slight afternoon thunderstorm chances that limit radiational cooling. This setup sits well above the 1991-2020 climatological average low of 50.4°F for the date, yet market-implied probabilities remain tightly clustered between 57°F and 63°F because short-range ensemble spreads and local factors such as variable cloud cover or dew-point depressions can still shift the minimum by several degrees. Traders appear to weigh the risk of modest cooling against the strong warm bias in latest runs, with the next NWS forecast update and real-time mesonet observations likely to refine the outcome before midnight.
