Recent opinion polls for Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election show Vänsterpartiet typically polling between 6.5% and 7.8%, ahead of Kristdemokraterna’s 4.2% to 7.5% range in most surveys from May through July. Statistics Sweden’s May data and multiple Novus and Indikator readings recorded statistically significant or sustained edges for V over KD, reflecting steadier left-leaning support within the red-green bloc. Later Demoskop results narrowed the gap without reversing the order in aggregate. Traders interpret these consistent differentials, absent major late-campaign reversals or turnout shifts, as supporting the 60.5% implied probability that V receives more votes than KD.
