Cleveland Fed nowcasts point to 0.35% MoM headline for the month, supported by continued moderation in shelter costs and fading energy price pressures from prior shocks. Core measures remain sticky near 2.5% annually, keeping focus on whether labor market softening will sustain disinflation ahead of the September FOMC. These dynamics position 0.4% and 0.2-0.3% as leading implied probabilities, reflecting trader consensus on a rebound from June's decline without reacceleration.
