Recent USDA egg price data and ongoing supply dynamics are anchoring trader sentiment around the $2.10–$2.30 range for September 2026, with the $2.20–$2.30 bucket leading at 33.5% implied probability. Elevated feed costs tied to corn and soybean markets, combined with residual avian flu impacts on layer flocks, continue to support prices above pre-pandemic averages, while improving seasonal production and stable demand temper upside risks. The closely contested $2.10–$2.20 outcome at 29.5% highlights uncertainty over September’s final average, with key swing factors including any late-month flock reports or wholesale price revisions. Traders are monitoring upcoming USDA monthly releases and futures curves for clearer signals on whether costs stabilize near current levels or ease further.
