Recent polling in Rio Grande do Norte shows a tight contest for the state's two Senate seats, with Styvenson Valentim (Podemos) holding a narrow lead in vote intention while Samanda de Lula (PT), Coronel Hélio (PL), Rafael Motta (PDT), and Zenaide Maia (PSD) remain within the margin of error in consolidated surveys from July and early August 2026. This multi-candidate field, where voters select up to two names, keeps second-place positioning highly fluid as no single challenger has consolidated support behind the frontrunner. Party coalitions, regional turnout patterns, and late campaign momentum among the remaining registered candidates continue to shape the race without decisive separation.
