Recent polling for Sweden's September 13, 2026, parliamentary election shows Vänsterpartiet and Centerpartiet with nearly identical support levels around 6.5–7.8 percent, creating tight competition for direct vote share. Fluctuations in recent surveys from Demoskop and Novus reflect shifting voter priorities on economic policy, immigration, and welfare within the broader contest between the centre-left opposition bloc and the Tidö-backed government. Leadership transitions at Centerpartiet and ongoing campaign focus on rural interests versus progressive positions have kept both parties' trajectories uncertain. Developments such as late shifts in turnout among swing voters or targeted appeals on climate and integration issues could alter the narrow margin before election day.
