Official National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on August 29 project a high near 95°F under partly sunny skies with only a 20% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, consistent with multiple local models showing 90-96°F ranges. Late-summer conditions feature strong daytime solar heating at the city's mile-high elevation, though any storm development could introduce cloud cover and evaporative cooling to cap peaks. Recent August heat, including prior highs exceeding 100°F, has given way to slightly moderated patterns as moisture returns. Trader emphasis on the 92-93°F bin reflects consensus around these official guidance values and typical forecast uncertainty ranges for convective events. Resolution depends on the day's official maximum recorded at Denver stations.
