With more than 10 candidates competing for first place in Rondônia’s October 4, 2026 Senate election, trader consensus reflects a fragmented field where no contender holds a dominant edge. Recent officialization of candidacies by parties including PL and PDT, combined with the TSE’s August clearance of former senator Acir Gurgacz to run after prior legal hurdles, has kept probabilities clustered near 40-50%. Bruno Bolsonaro Scheid’s PL nomination and family-linked visibility provide one focal point, while other contenders such as Luciana Oliveira, Aires Mota, and Mariana Carvalho draw support from regional bases. Early polling snapshots showing Scheid among the leaders have not yet produced separation, as turnout patterns, coalition alignments, and late campaign developments could still reorder the ranking before election night.
