Recent polls ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election show the Christian Democrats (KD) holding support between 6.1% and 7.5%, placing the party above the 6% threshold in the latest surveys from Demoskop and others. As a junior partner in the Tidö coalition alongside the Moderates and Liberals, and reliant on Sweden Democrats backing, KD has benefited from governing visibility on issues such as family policy and energy under leader Ebba Busch. Earlier 2026 readings hovered near or below 6%, yet mid-summer fieldwork indicates modest stabilization or gains that align with the 63.5% implied probability for finishing over the line. Traders appear to weigh the short remaining campaign window and potential late shifts in undecided voters against this recent polling range.
