This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 12 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=katl This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Official National Weather Service observations and station data confirmed Atlanta’s daily maximum temperature on September 12 reached 84–85°F, aligning precisely with the market’s 100% implied probability for that bin. This outcome matched mid-September climatological normals near 84.5°F at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and reflected the day’s atmospheric conditions, including partial cloud cover, light winds, and scattered morning showers that limited solar heating and prevented temperatures from exceeding the upper 80s. Pre-event model guidance from NOAA consistently projected a high near 85°F, reinforcing trader consensus ahead of resolution. Minor station-to-station variations or post-analysis adjustments remain the only realistic scenarios that could shift the recorded value outside this narrow range.
