Recent ensemble forecasts from GFS and ECMWF models indicate a maximum temperature near 28–29°C in Milan on September 14 under high pressure with light southerly flow and minimal cloud cover, positioning these outcomes as the market leaders at 44% and 26.5% implied probability. This aligns with above-average late-summer conditions in the Po Valley, where clear skies and weak winds favor daytime warming without significant advection of cooler air. Model consensus shows low precipitation risk and stable pressure around 1020 hPa, though slight variations in boundary-layer mixing could shift the peak by 1–2°C. Updated runs expected within 24–48 hours will further refine resolution criteria for the daily high.
