Recent model runs from agencies like Taiwan's Central Weather Administration indicate a transitional pattern over northern Taiwan, with lingering moisture and northeasterly flow producing scattered showers or thunderstorms on September 7 that limit solar heating and keep maximum temperatures in the 28–30°C range. Historical September baselines show typical highs near 30°C, but current atmospheric conditions—including elevated humidity and variable cloud cover—introduce uncertainty in peak values, as even modest differences in rainfall timing or wind strength can shift the daily maximum by 1–2°C. Traders appear to price this narrow band of outcomes evenly because updated short-range guidance shows limited divergence among ensembles, with lower odds assigned to extremes outside climatological norms.
