This market will resolve based on the lowest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 10 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the lowest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Miami Intl Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/fl/miami/KMIA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Persistent summer heat and the absence of cooling influences produced an exceptionally high overnight low of 84–85 °F at Miami International Airport (KMIA) on August 10, 2026.** Official observations recorded a minimum of 82–84 °F, consistent with an ongoing regional heat anomaly that followed July’s second-hottest month on record and a prolonged streak of days above 90 °F. High dew points near 73–74 °F, light easterly winds, and limited nocturnal radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies prevented temperatures from falling further, aligning with National Weather Service climatological normals that already place August lows in the upper 70s but elevated this year by broader atmospheric conditions. Traders priced the 84–85 °F bin at 100 % because the official daily minimum, reported by Weather Underground for the resolution station, fell squarely inside that narrow range with no realistic margin for revision. The only scenarios that could alter the outcome are an official data correction from the National Weather Service or a change in the designated reporting station, both of which remain statistically remote given the consistency across multiple automated sensors.
