Forecasts from the National Weather Service and local outlets call for scattered thunderstorms on September 19 in Denver, with a projected high near 79°F and a 50-70% chance of afternoon convection. This setup creates narrow uncertainty around peak temperatures: earlier or lighter storms could allow readings to reach the upper 70s, while widespread cloud cover or earlier rainfall would cap the maximum closer to 76-77°F. The historical average high for the date is 77.8°F, providing context for the current pattern of modest cooling from recent frontal activity. Traders are weighting model consensus on storm timing and intensity, with fresh NWS updates and short-range guidance likely to refine odds before resolution.
