Recent forecast consensus from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and regional models, combined with ongoing monsoon conditions, positions 32°C as the dominant outcome for Karachi’s August 17 maximum temperature. Persistent cloud cover, light to moderate rain or thundershowers expected through the 17–19 window, and elevated humidity are suppressing daytime heating relative to clearer periods, aligning with climatological August averages near 32–33°C. Trader-implied odds reflect this narrow range, with 31°C as a close secondary possibility if rainfall arrives earlier or proves heavier than modeled. Updated PMD outlooks and next model runs will further refine resolution probabilities before the day’s official high is recorded.
