Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts show northwest flow and clearing skies behind Sunday's heavy rain and thunderstorms will produce sunny conditions with highs of 75–77°F across New York City on September 14, directly supporting the market's 76–77°F bin as the clear leader. Lower humidity and breezy northwest winds around 10–12 mph will limit afternoon warming compared with the prior day's more humid southerly flow, while typical September climatology for the region centers near 75°F. Minor model spread around the exact peak keeps secondary probability on the 78–79°F range, but current guidance shows little support for readings reaching 80°F or falling below 74°F.
