The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the lowest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Miami Intl Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/fl/miami/KMIA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Current National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs point to an overnight low of 78–79 °F at Miami International Airport on May 18, slightly above the 1991–2020 climatological normal of 74–75 °F. Persistent south-southeast flow off the warm Gulf Stream is limiting nocturnal radiative cooling while elevated dew points near 73 °F sustain a humid, stable boundary layer. With no frontal passage or dry-air intrusion expected through the 48-hour window, forecast confidence remains high that the minimum will settle in the upper 70s rather than the cooler 74–75 °F bracket. Traders are therefore pricing the 78–79 °F outcome as the modal outcome ahead of the final evening observations that will determine contract resolution.
